Following on from the latest line of questions about yourself. Name your top five movies, for the sake of Starwars fans, count them as one if you wish. Mine are 1 GOODFELLAS 2 LOTR 3 QUADROPHENIA 4 DIRTY HARRY 5 STAR WARS (1ST 3 FILMS) Close runners up, Once were Warriors, Human Traffic, Pulp Fiction, Withnail and I.......and so on. God that was quite hard.

1. LOTR I and II 2. Terminator 3. Aliens 4. Tora Tora Tora 5. Zulu Dirty Harry is up there as one I always watch when its on the TV, as are the Star Wars trilogy (I'm still trying to deny the existence of the two most recenbt ones) and Apocalypse Now.

So many to choose from... 1) Withnail & I 2) Desperado 3) Very Bad Things 4) Sexy Beast 5) The Shout ...with special mentions for True Romance, The Matrix, Pulp Fiction, Casino, Goodfellas, Brazil, Bladerunner, Aliens, The Cook The Thief His Wife And Her Lover, Blue Velvet, Wild At Heart and The Second Coming (which was a drama, not a film, but it was still the most awesome thing I've ever seen).

As an addition, it might interest people to know that I'm probably the saddest film buff on the face of the planet, with a chilling 200+ viewings of "Withnail & I" over a single 6 year period, with perhaps 50 since. At one point I knew the entire script, word for word. And if that's not sad I don't know what is.

Independence Day It's a Wonderful Life Gone With the Wind The Cat People (the original B&W version - great play with lighting, especially the pool scene) War of the Worlds Robinson Caruso on Mars I tend towards scifi if new, and old movies of just about any nature except westerns. But, like music, I have a pretty broad span of likes. Can't abide horror movies but love comedies and mysteries.

Appealed to my sick sense of humor, loved the whistling to the bird scene and the eggs. Delores Claiborne (sp?)- Loved the realism. Rochr - lol - I'm like that when I'm watching films with CG effects. In Jurassic Park I just looked to see if they'd got the scenery interacting right with the CG.
