It can be done with still images! Save the picture from Vue in a form that can be read by Adobe Illustrator. (other programs probably could be used) "Place" the file in Adobe Illustrator. "Export" the file as a .swf file. Works swell for static files. I took a 4+ meg file and squished it down to 137K and it looked decent. You could make animation backgrounds in Vue for Flash cartoons.
