Subject: Japanese exercise equipment

Any idea on how this athletic equipment is used? I got copies from Japanese sites describing some phenomenon called "soapland". Can anyone with model and/or pose building talents replicate this?

well i wouldn't know where to get the models but some of the pics look like things a gynea would use...

From the decorator colours, I'd assume they were intended for women. The wrist loops on either side of the head platform look sort of like pec extension cables, but the arch is completely mystifying.

Yep. Those articles sound about right, given that equipment. And, given Japanese ingenuity, I'm not suprised. Just look at Japanese toilets! ;) Slightly off-topic, speaking of devices and strange equipment, if you ever come across an anime called "Cool Devices", do not, I repeat -NOT- watch it. Trust me on this one.

Actually, these samples were copied from sites advertising "love hotels" which we demean in the states as "hot sheet hotels" ... in Japan, they are a highly refined and respectable hotels.

So, is "sexual acrobatics" going to become a new Olympic event? :wide evil grin: These could sneak in with balance beams and parallel bars. It wouldn't be until the camera closed in that the viewers at home could see what the "pairs" were actually doing. The winner would use Bizet's "Bolero" for background music as well as some smoldering costumes. Carolly
