I just had to follow this work. I hesitate to offer a critique but I will. I think it's a lovely arrangement. I think the hills in the background draw attention where it needs to be. It's an innocent scene. And more common than others might think. What you did in the final render was a good workaround. If you are any good at postwork (and such), you might consider adding (somehow...not that I could do it) bicycle tracks and some "foot" tracks. The reason I had to "follow" this work? I was walking around on the beach in Sweeden. To be quite frank, I was looking for for the famous blond Sweed. And, I don't get to too many beaches. Anyway (anyroad...LOL), as I was making my way through the (high) dunes toward the shoreline, a young girl (early 20's) was ahead of me by about 40 or 50 feet. She was carrying several things and was being annoyed by what looked to be Labrador. Well, the dog was really happy and she had some sort of "throw" toy he was interested in. Without much warning, she stopped, dropped everything, and as I approached, peeled off her t-shirt and dropped it on the ground. She bent over, and grabbed the toy (some oval looking thing) and threw it. Of course the dog took off like a madman...LOL. She used the time to sort through her stuff and as I was passing this girl clad only in a swimsuit bottom, she spread a big towel on the sand, smiled at me and said something I didn't understand, and went about her business as the dog came loping back to her. I thought to myself, "How wonderful for someone to be so carefree!" Then, I passed on by making sure I didn't turn around and take another look. After all, I am American and had to remember some manners. So, this scene you have shown made me remember that moment that happened about 20 years ago. See? You never know how your art will affect someone!
