More correctly known as film scanners they scan both negatives and transparencies (slides). There are scanners that are exclusively made to scan film and there are those that scan film and well as your usual flat bed scanning. Probably the two most important questions you need to ask yourself are: 1.What are you going to be doing with the images you scan? 2.How much do you want to spend?
