{How ungrateful you people are! } Well, then, I supopse I should apologize. We should all be greatful that there are sites that give us such great free items like Orbit Browser, Save and Free, and Gator. So what if these things are known spyware? So what if they're an invasion of privacy? And so what if Renderosity condones this activity by allowing the site ot be in the Webring... much less #15! {I suppose you all avoid "DigitalBabes" because you fear seeing cybernetic anime-style females with big boobs?} Nice attempt to deflect the argument, but you're missing the point completely. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the content. In fact, if I could get the thumbnails to work, I'm sure the content is good. I am questioning why a site needs to have pop-up windows asking people to install spyware. If "DigitalBabes" has spyware, then I would be posting the same message. The argument of "he has to pay for his site" doesn't hold much weight either. There thousands of ways to make money without having to resort to spyware plug-ins. {If anybody should be banned, it certainly isn't the guy who GAVE us these textures in the first place.} I'm not saying that the guy be banned, just that his site be reviewed for current content. Yes his site (and stuff) may be excellent, but the site is infested now. Is spyware really what we want to give to the community? Do we really want new people going there and thinking that they have to download spyware in order to use the site or the textures? Well, okay, if that's want you want, I'll stop complaining. If Renderosity is making sure they aren't legally liable for free stuff by putting in mod, they need to do the same thing with webring submissions. After all, it's the same thing- someone can get infected by a site that they went to from here.
