It says, "...before noon." Does that mean from 1 minute after midnight 'till 1 minute after noon........? If so, forget it!!!

Solar clocks? although I don't see how a solar clock could be broken and still give a time. Or maybe a swinging clock. You know, a weight on a rope swinging as the earth rotates under it. Has anyone here found an ancient fossilized digital watch burried under a piramid or something lately?
