parse or parse'l' xml files are parsed by the application so it might be still an xml file... in yout runtime 'ui' and 'pref' directory are your xml files (poser5) xml is really easy to read, you can view it in your IE browser by double clicking it in your directory. if you click one and it doesnt come up or you get an error, pass it on... it may narrow down your problem a bit because malfomed xml files are down-right unreadable and it may be something simple as simple as an wrong slash. if/when you find an xml file you cant open, rename it to a txt, open in wordpad the copy/post it here. with the file name and i can check it against mine... others might to. good luck
