i had that problem, and it was the libraryprefs.xml file...apparantly if you have any folders with an & sign, it cannot process the information. you can open the .xml file in notepad without renaming it, just open notepad and drag the file onto it, it will open it (xml is similar to html) do a find word and search for the & sign... this website helped explain it better than i can :-) http://www.ronknights.com/poser5/errors/parse.htm
