One place to look would be here...... you might find something useful there. Again the list of scanners is never ending.... still limiting it to film scanners you still have a lot of choices. You can spend thousands or you can spend hundreds. I suggest taking a look at this site that I've provided the link for.... seems there should be some useful information there. For what it's worth I have a CanoScan FS 4000US....
