It's been more than two months since I posted some new stuff on this forum, so here we go ;) A few weeks back I went to a museum that's all about textile (linnen, cotton, etc), but the fun thing is that it's located in an old factory with old factory workers (or people who did the same line of work) are actually operating all the machines. It's all powered by their own steam turbine (or whatever those things are called), but because they have some very old and rare stuff on display, they have a very low light level in the museum part. (they said cotton, linnen, etc gets damaged by too much light - so photography is forbidden in those areas). Was allowed to shoot in the old factory part, so these shots are from that area. :)

This is the turbine. The room is incredibly humid, cause of all the steam....ofcourse ;)

A close up of some of the detail.

So this is one of those 'low light' way of displaying the stuff they make. Oh, and the DO actually make table linnen, sweaters, blankets....which is part of their funding. A fun place to visit often! :)

Aw, Rork, a dog pic but no cat ones?!? Shame on you ;) ...and sorry, when I read "this is just something outside of my window a few weeks ago " I thought - huh? a few weeks ago - like, the building just appeared then disappeared again?!? Gawd knows why, must just be the mood I'm in! ROFL Love the 1st and third pics - that light through the window is way cool.....actually, they're all good - they seem to be really clear considering the low light thay you mention and the movement the dawg musta had going on.... #1, 6 & 7 are my favorites.... I like the framing with the sig... I may have to steal that idea! :~) What film did you use for these?

I am, therefore I create.......

I LOVE #6, 1 is really good too. The wife votes for the puppy. Now I am going to have to finish the damn fence so she can get one. Thanks. LOL Magick Mcichael

1, 2 4 and 7. That dog shot is nice, especially with your matte. Very slick. I am just such a dog person. And puppies just hit that super soft spot in my heart. -=>Donald

Hey thanks for all the replies :) @ Michele: Provia 100F and feel free to copy the framing, cause I might have copied it from someone else as well ;) Actually, the idea of framing them came from your shots in the first place - so I should be asking you ;)

Like them all, especially the old wheel spinning. The blur portrays the motion very well. All very nice shots.
