If the ship is new and in the process of building then the ship textures are fine but if it's in for a refit then there should be some grime and scars on it. BTW, is it a ship or is it a weapon? If its a weapon I think the textures should be darker, more dangerous looking. I see it's called armageddon so it looks like one of those weapons of mass destruction that can't be found, hehehe.
