I am trying to make a V3 version of myself (I find this a good way to learn a new figure) and am running into a few problems. I have a V2 version that is close enough to me that people who know me recognize it immediately but I can't do the same with V3. TheV3 eyes are actually a little closer to mine but the lower face is just off. I know that part of the problem is the lips, I can't find any way to narrow the philtrum and change the lower lip shape. But there is something else indefinable wrong. I'm hoping you folks can help me figure out how to fix it. Here are the v3 and v2 versions side by side - same texture used.

A quick glance at the two tells me the v3 version's nose ridge is too wide and the jaw taper is not enough. The head is too short in the Y. All I can see for now.

Sometimes some of the "letter" morphs ("M","F","A" or"O") or the smile/frown dials can do what the other controls won't. Try really small increments:(.125-.065).

Yes, I agree about the jaw but I can't figure out which morph dials to use to taper the jaw.

For the mouth, try using the mouth smaller morph in the positive, then use the mouth narrow morph in the negative, along with upper lip up sides in reverse as well. Also, upper lip round in reverse, a teeny bit of the feline mouth should narrow the philtrum enough, without puffing out the tops of the upper lip too much. Lower lip narrow in reverse a bit as well should do it.

This is my attempt. Does it look anything like you? If you see any features that may be helpful, let me know.

Don't know how much this will be helpfull, but maybe try playing with the "lips pucker" morph.
