I tracked it down when I started seeing early P2 work by Staale, and then Paul Hafeli, in the newsgroups. It was the series, I think by Paul, of the female warrior fighting the skeletons, that hooked me. Just had to find out how he did that one. Then I found, I think incarnation 2, of PFO (the green-on-black virtualave one) and the race was on. ...I'm sure the guys at CuriousL might find this info useful as well.
