Hi I did exactly that, converted a drive from FAT32 to NTFS with no problem at all. I used a program called Partition Magic but I don't know if that is essential or not. It was very easy and took only minutes. Maybe I just got lucky :-) Normally when I adjust anything on my PC I have to reinstall the whole lot........ dariop
