The biggest thing we need to do in order to help PBooost work is to use CorrectReference on EVERY item in our Poser installation. If you install something new, run CorrectReference on that new item. I'm not kidding when I say every item! It would also help a lot if someone took care of any programs such as Corel Indexing that interfere with the proper operation of your operating system. (In addition to the info provided here.) You can probably find more info on that subject in the Windows XP newsgroups?! I just got to the point where I handled it as a matter of course. I use parts of Corel Draw 8. As for converting to NTFS, I advocate doing it totally. That means backup any important stuff, wipe the drive(s), and then redo in NTFS. It's the best way to get it right. I was one of the early ones who couldn't switch banks with Windows XP Home and NTFS. At least that inspired Howard to get Windows XP Home, and find the solution: CorrectReference. Now I'm using my Dad's computer (long story) with Windows ME, and FAT32. PBooost works like a charm. Of course I'd rather have my own computer again!!!
