Perl is a really powerful (and really confusing) programming language. AFAIK it is platform independent as well, so it's not a bad choice. I think I get the gist of what you're doing, and why, so I'm definitely going to watch its progression. I know this is seriously putting the cart before the horse, but it would be great if this could end up compatible with the DAZ|Studio files down the road. (It looks like there will be a bit of a divergence in data files from Poser's .pz3.) Cheers!
