I've been using Final Draft 5 for a few years now and haven't had any problems. Haven't bothered to upgrade, but I understand the current version will output a .pdf of the finished script, which is probably a good thing. Price to functionality ratio is okay. It's not exactly a "knock your socks off" piece of software, but it does what it's supposed to do without complaining too much. If you're looking to get your episodic TV or theatrical film script into proper format, Final Draft works just fine. (It doesn't do side-by-side AV format, though. I think the same company makes a separate program for that.) On the annoying side, however, my FD5 still uses the old "Place the CD in the Drive" (which is the Poor Man's dongle, I guess) form of copy protection. No disk = no save features. Don't know if FD6 does the same thing. Could be a major pain in the butt on a computer with a really small hard drive. I'm told, however, that most people nowadays would have the smarts (and the disk space) to image the CD and keep it installed in a Virtual Drive.
