It works about the same for me. The can't find texture thing is still annoying. For me everything else will work well until I start playing with the lights. I've learned to save before going to the lights. Default lighting will render fine, I switch to a light set (I've done it will several so not a bad setting) and it will switch to loading textures as it's supposed to... and stay there, crash and burn.
