Reliable rumor has it that the renders can be saved (if you read the release and other threads in here related to DAZ|Studio, the output goes to any Renderman-compliant renderer, which prolly means that you can shoehorn your own renderer in there if you want), just not the .pz3 file (or whatever format file) itself, but the last part is likely still under discussion.
