Subject: newbie needs help

reverb try this first. Bring in a poser character from the right hand panel. Next, go into one of the folders on the right that has clothes only. Now at this point you want to make sure you do not "replace" your current figure with the clothes, (since the clothing is in actuality another figure with parts made invisible), so now instead of just clicking on the picture on the right you must click on the bottom where it will say "create new figure". This will now bring in the clothes as a separate entity. Now make sure that the "clothes" figure is highlighted. Then go to the top and click on the panel that says "figure" and you will see the word "conform to..." You will want to conform the clothes figure to figure 1. Now your clothes should dress your figure automatically. "Props" work differently. You only need to click on those, but then you have to MOVE them into place and "parent" them unless they are pre-set to jump onto the figure as some are nowadays. This should get you started, ask more if you need to as this is not something that can possibly be explained all in one session.
