I should probably add that I am leaving for work in about 45 minutes and won't be able to get back to you until later tonight. In the meantime, perhaps what you can do is do as much rearranging in UV Mapper as you can, and then bring it into Deep UV just to relax it. If that doesn't solve the problem, I'll catch ya later 8-)
