Same here Diandra. I make almost all my own textures and I ALWAYS make them seamless tiles first thing. If they are even fabric scans, I still make them seamless so that I can fill a specified area with no seams. The only area of a texture map (assuming it's a clothing item) that I don't care to match patterns is if it's an area where a real piece of clothing would normally have a seam, such as where the sleeve meets the body of the clothing, seams down the outside of pants between the front and back - areas that would normally be pieced together on a sewing machine.
