Just render it, select "paste picture onto backgroud", move the camera so the actual figure is not seen, only the bacground pic, and save it to the library. If you mean the background of the borg queen icon, I've heard it's related to the number of colors on display on the Windows configuration, although I've also heard that a high color number slow down the system.
