there is another free mapper called lithunwrap. it supports multiple formats, lwo, obj, 3ds...a bunch of them. so there ya go. i am hoping to learn to someday map...and, yes, even BONE in lightwave...but, for now, i'm happy to be getting a little handle on some of the modelling tools. don't worry...i'm not done with rhino by a long shot. it's just, well, i got to the point where i had to have something to basically take the place of poser, and, provide modelling, too. c4d was a consideration, but, then, i got a good deal on lw from a guy who had bought it to try and design surf boards of all things.
