I had to compress this image a LOT to be able to post it, so if there are some jpg artifacts, I apologize. Anyway, this is my first complete render of this scene. I'm mostly satisfied with the composition, but still feel the lighting needs a lot of work. Any suggestions for giving this a better atmosphere? I also think I need to do something about the shoreline, but am not sure how to go about making it look less abrupt. Any and all suggestions for improvement welcome :)

You might want to put a 2D face of dark green (or even mottled) behind the bushes to get rid of the glowing blue unless that's what you want. Very pretty render and colorful.

love the colors. Shure would like to see all those pretty flowers a little better..Specialy the blue ones :) As for the shoreline hmmm, maybe a smidgen of hieght noise.

"Reinstall Windows" is NOT a troubleshooting step.

Well, this is a matter of taste, so don't take it as criticism. I love all of it except that I find the colors a little stark. But, like I said, that's only a matter of taste. Other than softening up the colors, maybe using a little different textures or DOF, I don't know if I'd change anything. Very good work! :o)
