Hi...

There has never been a better time to get your hands on PBooost!

PBooost 1.4 will have a slight increase to the purchase price... although of course this is reflected in the features available! LOL!

Upgrading to PBooost 1.4 will be free.. so why wait??
Get PBooost 1.3 now and look forward to your FREE upgrade to PBooost1.4 on release...

Those of you who are already using the PBooost 1.4_tested_Beta will know of the advantages of the upgrade... including the thumbnail viewer and full Poser-5-ableness.

The new features together with drop-dead content management make for an incredible Poser experience. This can be substantiated by the many users who have contributed Feedback at the store page...

But work has been afoot on the secret Deep File Editor 4... bringing it into shape for 2004.

It gives unparallelled access to the deepest, darkest file properties... including EMC, alternate geometry and everything else you can imagine.

It has a 3d obj viewer which interactively shows internal and external geometries... you can make geometries internal, external or export '.obj' files at the click of a button.

As you can see... here's a glimpse of the Materials and references page... I have selected the obj reference for the bikini and the model is shown in the 3d image view-box.
Incorrect references are colour-coded and correctable as standard... so now you can correct obj references as well!!

So why mess about! Get PBooost1.4 at PBooost1.3 prices!
Buy PBooost 1.3 now and look forward to your FREE upgrade to PBooost1.4 on release...

Howard:)

Here's a glimpse of the Actors/Props page of the DFE... You can see a 'GetStringRes' value shown in YELLOW. The hint shows the actual name in full. You have full access to all the 'getStringRes' values.

Take it from one beta tester. I had version 1.3 for a short amount of time before Howard gave me the beta to play with. And the changes I've seen so far are wonderful and worth getting for the upgrade - and I still haven't seen the final! ;)

Hi Howard! Will our file be updated in the MP if we already bought it?

Have you got an ETA for 1.4?

noggin ( ) posted Sun, 18 May 2003 at 11:10 AM

Exciting!! I've been using PBoost 1.3 for a while (in fact I couldn't use Poser without it with all the library files i've got!) This new version looks like its got heaps of added functionality. Will we get notification of when / how to get the upgrade? Nigel

hogwarden ( ) posted Sun, 18 May 2003 at 11:56 AM

Hiya If you already have purchased PBooost the update will be free... so it'll just be a matter of 're-downloading' your previous purchase from the marketplace. When it's up in the marketplace I will mail all PBooost patrons with the news! Hmmm eta? I'd say a month. I've a LOT of documentation to write! Howard:)

Hey Howard, This is great! One question: What if you bought it at another place besides the MP, i.e., 3D Commune? Have fun writing that documentation. Larry F

hogwarden ( ) posted Mon, 19 May 2003 at 6:03 AM

No problems there... you will be able to get the update from wherever you downloaded before... If you have problems when the time comes, the srore staff will help you out. Howard:)

You da MAN!! I've bought a lot of Poser related stuff, but this is pretty much flat out the best utility investment I've made! Thanks! Larry F

Cant wait!!! What if you have both poser 4 and poser 5. Since you say it works with 5 now. Much more usefull for 4 or pro-pack though. Looks really good.

Heh. What if you don't remember WHERE you bought it. :)

lynnJonathan ( ) posted Sun, 25 May 2003 at 10:26 AM

Pretty easy to figure out. Check your purchase history here and then go check at 3d commune. You can still download your purchases from here anytime. Kind of like a back up. Or an easy way to get an updated version as well.

Hogwarden - First, let me say I'm tremendously happy I bought PBooost. It absolutely makes the workflow more personal and manageable. I look forward to version 1.4 very much. That said, and if it's not too late or if it's easy enough to make it possible, could you consider in the Deep File Editor, using orange or yellow as one of the colours in the Colour Key over either the green or the red? Unfortunately, I'm colour blind (red/green) and I'm on XP and I have a hell of a time trying to determine the status of what the Deep File Editor is telling me every time I need to go in there to fix the switching banks problem in XP. The particular shades of red and green that you chose along with (is it a tan background?) make it so hard for me to know if it's telling me the texture is valid or not at all found... It's probably not possible - you might worry about confusing experienced users - but it'd be so helpful I thought I'd ask. : ) Thanks again for a smart piece of work. Dave

Heh heh... Later in the day now, I feel silly for my prior post about the colour request change... : ) As I've been working through the files, I find I'm being able to tell a subtle enough difference between the red and green. Ignore my silliness - egg on my face. : ) Dave

Ooops~! Too late, Dave...

I've made the necessary alterations to PBooost to allow you to customise the colour codes. When you click on any of the writing a color-picker comes up. It stores the colours so they stay...

Perhaps I have been a little eager! I think I will be pressing 'Reset Default at this point! LOL!

Also... here's a quick view of the new DFE. Notice it's sepatarated into three 'pages'... this is a view of the 'Scripts' page.

Anyway... It's a nice little addition to the program!... It'll blow through into the 1.4 release I have lined up.

Oh.. well!!!

Howard:)

That's great, Howard. It looks great and it will still be a help. It'll mean less intense peering on my part to make out the difference. : ) I, for one, thank you heartily! Dave

3ddave44 ( ) posted Sat, 21 June 2003 at 8:52 AM

Addedum: ...one might ask what the hell a colour-blind person is doing involved with programs with 16 million colour options to begin with but I do see colour and actually red and green are not too often a problem (well how do I know...) but those particular shades of red and green were. : ) Dave
