It looks as though you need to vary the distance between the 'window' and the light. You might find it easier to try without the figure first, get the window shadow right, then add in the figure. Take a look at these pics. I cheated, because I used my 'cyber studio' photo studio kit from DAZ, but it shows the idea. The light is a spotlight set to shadow=0.700 / map size 1024. All cameras at 100 mm. The view from the top shows roughly the distance you would need from light to figure and light to 'window'. The thing I'm using is a lattice studio 'flag' which is used to create shadow patterns. (I'm a fashion pfotographer by profession). Anyway, any spotlight and a couple of boxes will give you a window shape. You also need to have the light and 'window' fairly high up, so you can 'shoot' from the front and not have them in the frame. mac
