The main idea for not allowing it, would be that members would abuse the ability, more to the point they could/would delete any comment that gave them a low rating, thus giving more scrupulous individuals a back door to raising the overall rating of their pictures. Other than that; The members leaving a comment would be upset that their comment was deleted, this might give opportunity/yet another reason for a "fight" between members. More reason for certain members to troll your gallery out of revenge, etc, etc. It also takes the Mods out of the loop. Meaning, if you were given a bad comment, then deleted it, THEN decided to contact us for help, (which WOULD happen more than not) there is nothing we could do, since we never saw the comment.
