The Sanctum Arts "solo" is pretty good, it's a little slow to render and I agree, theboots ar qite diaspointing, but it's definetely worth considering. On the subject of spacesuits, there aren't any, well, realistic ones that I know of, however there is a fairly decent environment suit at 3dCommune called Biohazard I believe, that's pretty good as it's not overly futuristic.
