Sorry zebra, but on a good waterbed, there are cabinets on the sides. The mattress sits on a crossed frame of plywood braces, and there's just enough room for shallow cabinets on the sides. About a foot deep. I know, I put mine together and took it apart enough times from moving before I gave up on waterbeds. I know it seems like the mattress would be too heavy, but it isn't. You make like a cross bracing system and then put a sheet of plywood over that which has the heater and stuff for the bed, then the mattress goes on. It's pretty good engineering actually. The cabinets actually do come in pretty handy. I used to store magazines and paperwork under mine, along with junk that I collected and had no use for lol. And having cats, the everpresent waterbed mattress repair kit.

Talent is God's gift to you. Using it is your gift to God.
