Saving over the original might be the problem as bloodsong suggested the rsr file might be the culprit. Try saving the re-mapped object as Candle2 etc. Then IMPORT it into Poser (FILE MENU, import Wavefront OBJ), do any scaling you have to and save it to the library. You will have a second instance of the candle etc but this should work and the new mapping should apply, also look at what Stormrage suggested. STORM
