The style was a bit different. Some more humor, and some less mystery to the storytelling. But I get the feeling the story gets better when it's combined with The Matrix Revolutions. I did get a Deja-vue feeling about the truck-crash on the highway (you know, with all the RiPpLe eFfEcTs). The fight with 100 AS's was too long, but had cool effects. I found that the motionblurr was too stylised too. I also have doubts about what the speech of Morpheus and the party/sex-scene had to add to the story. The speech of Morpheus was a little empty and the party-scene was too long to my taste. I do want to see the film a 2nd time though, because the overall story is very well thought out and very complex. I have the feeling I'll notice more details when I see it again. I'd like to know if there's a matrix within a matrix or if it's still something else. It is a good movie, but it's also very different from the first one.
