I actually had really good results in Bryce using 2 D planes.. mind I have the actual trees and ground plants ect..I made for the backdrops (they were all originally 3D terrains and so on) so when used the background render from Poser on a 2D plane and added in some of the models I made for the backgrounds the effect was seamless with way less render time. hmm , maybe I should do the trees and ground plants up to use, I would have to map them and set them up as poser props so that they could be used in several apps.. any interest? Well it would have to be a lot of interest LOL.
