FurFur does what it says - converts the 'treemaker' objects to obj files. The problem is, the files tend to be HUGE. If you want 10 meg hair objects, fair enough. Not that it's Masa's fault. There are just so many polygons in a 'hair' object that it'll always be huge. Second point. You can't render treemaker hair, but you CAN export images. Just go to Menu/File/Export/Image and choose the format you want. The image will show everything you see in the document window (including lights, magnets, et al). dyan To parent a prop to a figure. Say you want to parent a comb to vicki's hand. Double-click the comb or go to properties (crtl-i) and select 'set parent'. In the list that appears, scroll down to find the body part you want (hand) and click it. This will make the prop a 'smart-prop'. If you resave it to the library, poser will ask if you want to make it a smart-prop. Click 'yes'. Every time you open it now, (with vicki already in the scene), the comb will go straight to her hand and follow it wherever you move the hand. The prop can still be moved if you select it, but it will always follow the hand. To UNPARENT a prop, do the same thing, but select 'universe' as the parent. Conform - The conform command is ONLY used for clothing figures. You have vicki and a dress figure. Select the dress, go to 'conform to..' and select vicki as the target. The dress will drape itself over her in position. mac
