Do you have the update ( 5.0.1.326 )? Another thing to try is to set the "Launch to default state" button in the Edit>>Preferences... OS menu and restart Bryce. That'll always put Bryce back to it's default state. If you're still having problems I'd say re-install Bryce (ick). For what it's worth, I've never had anything quite like that happen (Mac and PC).
