Q: "Why is the product being discontinued ( for Mac )?" A: Because 75 to 80 percent of the world population uses windows, and 10 to 15 percent use mac...were just not making any money off them. Q: "What about ongoing support for current customers?" A: Since we never answer any of our support emails anyway... what's the big deal Q: "Does this affect other Mac products?" A: Depends on how much money were making off them. Q: "What percentage of Mac sales does the company see?" A: We don't specifically break down sales of our product, we just want everybody to switch to the Windows platform. Q: "Have you considered selling the code base or making it open-source?" A: Depends on how much money we can make off it. Q: "Are you working on competitive or side-upgrades for its customers?" A: We just lowered the price and put it in a new box, hopping everybody will think it's an upgrade and buy it. Q: "Will the company provide bug fixes for the near future? A: We put out a patch a year and a half ago, what more do you want. Q: "Customers may not be interested in purchasing a "dead" end product--especially one that may break with upcoming Mac OS X update code-named Panther (expected in September)." A: I can't elaborate any further ... because we have either fired, laid off, or move the entire team for that software, to other departments. Q: "What specially are the challenges to maintaining a cross-platform application? Is the development, customer support, or quality assurance? Did Apple's recent transition to Mac OS X, a Unix-based system, cause problems (e.g., increase costs or lengthen development cycles) for the product?" A: Redundant question, we're only making money on the Windows side....maybe all you people can switch to PCs. Q: "Can we expect Mac updates for other products soon?" Depends on weather we stay in business or not, and how much money we can make off it.
