Her left hand still looks like a shop display. I think the gragon colour is fine, you would not want a different brighter colour. I assume the dragon belongs in the woods? That way green would be right, to do with Camouflage. What about putting some old broken shell in the background, make it look as if the dragon is really young and inquisitive. With her right arm up, look at the cloak. To make it look more natural, try lifting the right hand side of the cloak. What about a few small breaks in the branches, with beams of light casting over the two main characters? Have you ever heared the term "can't seee the wood for the trees" Look at your tree structures (I know you are only intending to show the basic layout etc..) be carful not to clump too close together, take a walk to your local woods (if you have any) look at the formation of the trees. I would also look into the depth of field, the fog works but there is no real depth (assuming you are trying to show they are in the depths of the woods?) I would not use a leash, I think as it stands they are both vulnerable a leash would put the the woman in control of the situation. The way I read your image at the moment is that it is the anticipation and that moment prior to them touching a level of tension. It is almost like the time you first went to kiss your partner for the very first time. Personally I would take it across to bryce and set up the background. I think it is a very good idea for an image. Spend some time looking at the way clothes fall and how trees clump together in woods etc.. Overall good image concept, hope my comments are taken the way they are meant!
