Hi, I'm new to poser, which means I know less than nothing about Poser. So, if I ask a really dumb question please forgive me. From my understanding there a series of "standard" man and female characters for poser. Some come with poser, others are sold by third parties. What I'm looking for is a list of all man and female characters that can be had and where they might be found. Thanks! Ray

A list of all the available characters would be just about impossible, and even if it was correct at the moment when it was compiled, somebody would create a new character in the next hour! It's best to start out with the default characters; in fact, begin with the ones that are already dressed (Casual Female and so on) until you get the hang of the basic actions. Then graduate to the naked default figures (P4 Nude Woman and Man) and get the feel of applying clothes. The 3rd-party products are almost always harder to use and slower to operate; if you start with them, you may get unnecessarily frustrated!

Poser claims another soul ;) Hope you don't have any urgent need to do *anything* besides play with this program (you know--a mate, job, stuff like that) since Poser has this well-documented tendency to swallow your life....Just browse this forum and you will see :) Actually, now that I think of it--better keep that job, since your credit card is going to try to leap out of your pocket every time you visit DAZ or RDNA or PoserWorld or any one of dozens of other sites that sell content for Poser. And, having said that, I'm going to do a bad, bad thing and give you an easily clickable link to DAZ (where a wonderful thing called the Platinum Club exists... ;)

hi- welcome to your new addiction- :) Sooner then you'll think you will need Vicky and Mike- both from daz. good practice-lol- make porn- you'll learn more about posing and picture creation at first from that then trying to put your characters in bunny slippers :) Don't laught or scoff- in the ASA(foreign code intercepters) the first thing you learn to do in morse code is swear. Hello, my name is Esther. I've been addicted to Poser for 6 months now. I used to have money in my bank, friends, a social life, but now I sit at my computer all day while my husband mows the lawn. It's sunny outside, but I just can't get up. I have Vicki 3 and Mike 2, lots of clothes and textures.
