The new logo will be a nice creative change, however, I'm with the masses here and don't want to see the black background taken away. I post the majority of my work in the photo gallery and prefer how a dark background brings out detail in my photos.

Here is my opinion of a desirable color scheme, but still incorporating a black background :)
