I wasn't aware that there were other tutorials on that - I just wrote down what I was doing. For the render settings I used on the image above - 12 pixel samples, F-Stop 2.8, Focal Distance 5. There is no good default for focal distance - it really depends on your scene, use the script to calculate it.
