It was easy to get the background to black, text to white, as I prefer, but that now clashes really badly with the browns of the side and top bars, and the boxy I'm typing this into. Frankly, it's painful and distracting to look at this site, now, even with what changes I was able to make. On a more positive note, I see the drop-down menus as an improvment. Perhaps the freed-up space will be used for other things in the future. If I'm correct in observing that you've now put the logon/logoff link at the top, bravo! I've NEVER understood why a site wouldn't make that the most obvious of all links to click on. Also, the new site logo is beautiful, a classy improvement. In spite of my reluctance to add to the large number of complaints, I've just gotta wonder ... why these godawful mid-1970s denstist office browns? Hideous! :-)
