expand boxes don't work in many browsers - opera for example has problems with expandable boxes and those who oprefer to disable java as well. The design is efficent and the navigation is clean. Geesh they are drop down boxes folks - people complained that the side bars were too long (and they were) so the only option that works in all browsers is drop down boxes. The white is a bit harsh though so I changed my background to blanchedalmond, not as harsh and doesn't contrast as much.
