I'd still like to be able to mark threads with generic* titles as "Not of interest to me" so that I don't keep clicking on them - something that would flag 'em, but could be rescinded if they seemed to be getting interestingly OT by the headers. * or rather any titles, but it's only a problem when the topic could be anything.
