Funny that this has come out just at the time that New York State has made purchasing cigarettes on the Internet illegal. Regardless of your stand on smoking, this is a dangerous precedent and could lead to states banning all kinds of Internet sales. It is unconstitutional as well, because it is in restraint of interstate commerce. Although it is thinly veiled as a "health" issue the governing authority is the NY State Dept. of Taxation and Finance.
