So, I still consider myself a newbie to Poser. Had it just over a year now. I have uvmapper (the free one) and use it from time to time. I have a basic knowledge of modeling. When I make a texture for a model, its pretty basic. I bring the uvmapper image into Photoshop and paint on it then apply the texture to the model. So, with that, I have to ask a really silly question... what exactly are seam guides for and what do they do for texturing? Its my understanding that the seam guides mark the boundaries of the various meshes that make up a complex model. Why is it important to know where those boundaries are?
