Cracking model, tjohn. Some scorps, especially the big black ones from Asia have very glossy granular bodies. Might be worth seeing what an asphalt type material with some specularity looks like. The general rule with these things is, the fatter the tail and smaller the pincers, the less you want to play pat a cake with em. (I used to breed these things in my airing cupboard.)
