At the moment it could mean anything. Maybe they just want to get every cent of profit they can get out of bryce before they stop selling it. Maybe they visited this forum or places like it to do some research on the userbase of the corel products and decided to start working on bryce again. And maybe they just thought it would be easier to put the link back instead of answering lot's of mails asking where the link went.
