heyas; arcady: there is a 'spoonbill' dragon head that is oriental-shaped, but i don't think that is exactly the chinese lion-dog type you are talking about. i think tiamat is whatever the winning side recorded she was. ;) (we kicked her butt, 'cuz she was evil.') so it coulda gone either way, prolly. modern interpretations kinda try to condense these things, so a lot is lost in the translation.
