'this is for those where people put in invalid urls to thumbnails that there hosting company does not allow direct linking to ' could you rephrase that? sorry.. thats a bit hard to understand.. if I read it right, Geocities, Angelfire etc which block linking to graphics but allow files, (replacing the graphic with 'Hosted by Angelfire' for example), will now be denied tho the file is there and ok?
